troisnyx*

Sanctuary is a really cool track, thanks for pointing it out. Really vibrant and lots of textures.

As well as "All Shook Up" being one of my favourite songs, I love the way the brushes on the snare sort of "melt" into the song (does that make sense? :) ) And the single hand clap on 2 and 4 is so simple but sounds great! In a time of slick production I really appreciate these simple arrangements. Nothing made today sounds quite like it.

Wait a minute : All Shook Up is on the list ^_^' Suhweet.

As for Sanctuary, that was one of the first songs I tried to follow ever since the release of Kingdom Hearts II in 2006. :P

Ben,

For me it's the syncopation on the hihat that really makes this track. It sounds so fresh even though it was recorded in 1969!

"Mars" is one of my favourite pieces of music. I love the phrasing, the atmosphere, the tension... Not exactly a "drumming" song but hey it took me 4 hours to find all these tracks and check the links so I was just trying to keep it fun for me!
